Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Camelot’s in-house Creative Services team which is responsible for providing innovative creative services to the business, supporting both print and digital initiatives, for example point of sale, eMedia screen executions, website design and development, and Instant Win Game development. The position of User Experience Architect is responsible for designing interfaces, process flows and interactions to meet commercial and systems requirements and deliver usability and user journey efficiency.

Key accountabilities

- Designing and delivering intuitive, customer-centric interfaces and interactions to enhance product effectiveness via information architecture/user experience methodologies.
- Establishing and managing user experience standards and documentation for Camelot in line with industry best practice.
- Ensuring that project functional requirements and use cases meet user experience standards and guidelines.
- Presenting concepts to internal clients, clearly explaining rationale and influencing changes to thinking where required to deliver the most effective solutions.

Skills & experience

- Demonstrable experience in the field of user experience and information architecture.
- Experience in creating user experiences for complex transactional applications.
- Demonstrable knowledge of usability methodologies, user experience design and implementation and information architecture.
- Proficient in Axure, Visio and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Comfortable presenting, challenging and influencing peers, customers and stakeholders.
- Broad knowledge of online media and development techniques, including technical capabilities and limitations.
- Experience with SEO and Web Accessibility as defined by WAI.
