Summary

We’re currently recruiting for a skilled and ambitious DB2 DBA so support our growing database estate.
We support over 15 Tb of production DB2 and SQL Server databases, covering all our gaming and business systems and using the latest HA technologies. We also look after a number of SAP systems under DB2, and a very large number of testing environments across the company. Our day to day activities are varied and the nature of our business ensures that no two days present the same challenges.

Skills & experience

The ideal candidate will be a DBA, with a demonstrable technical track record of in excess of three years, able to assist with the implementation and support of high profile projects, specifically with experience of working with DB2 on AIX. In addition to this, experience of HADR and SQL Server would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will need to be a team player to work in this tight knit unit where peer support is always required, and to be able to articulate and explain technical database concepts to those without a database or technical background.
